The Story of Naturpreneurs

In 2020, we brought some of our coaching @ SanDono Startup Venture Studio to nature after experiencing how perfectly nature can create a safe space for entering, shaping strategic thoughts, entering tough discussions, and making important decisions.

In 2022, we took it a step further and brought small, curated groups of startup founders to nature. Since then, many entrepreneurs have experienced its power and the magic happening when nature, entrepreneurship, deep wisdom, crowd intelligence, and great people meet: the magic of Naturpreneurs!

From 2026, we are expanding to full-day and soon multi-day experiences, and bringing our formats to different locations across Switzerland and its bordering regions in Germany, Austria, Italy, and France. Let yourselves be inspired by the seasons and dive deep into topics relevant to entrepreneurial, brave minds.

What can I expect?

You will learn to deal with external expectations, success, and failure better. We will talk about risk and return while crawling on all fours through steep mountain forests looking for wild mushrooms, and experience fear but also self-empowerment when crossing a small waterfall or trusting one single, strong tree root while climbing up a steep hill. In the darkness of winter, you may explore silence’s effect on you – are you able to enjoy it, or does it make you anxious? Do you have the power to find your own way, and also not lose the big picture when everything “grows” around you in spring, and plentiful opportunities are literally arising all around you? Or do you rather experience fear of missing out? And if so: Why? Can you lend a helping hand, but also accept one when traversing a wild mountain river? What can nature teach us about niche strategies, USP, ecosystem strategies, as well as the art of changing perspectives? We will contemplate and reflect on such questions while lying on moss - a unique, grounding, sensory experience.

Why join us?

We combine 25 years of entrepreneurial experience and 15 years of coaching experience. Since we were children, we have been deeply interested in learning about and connecting to nature. Today, we convert our wealth of experience and acquired knowledge into deep reflection, meaningful and vulnerable conversations, and valuable impulses through coaching interventions. We believe this is the most effective formula to boost awareness and catalyse change; in other words, the most effective path to personal growth. Bring more trust, accountability, and authenticity into your private & professional life.

Our long-term goal is to create a Naturpreneurs movement that goes beyond memorable events. To achieve this, we will soon establish a Naturpreneurs Alumni Club– a circle for brave entrepreneurs who understand and embrace the power of nature, as well as a space and resource for clarity, inspiration, and sustainable growth.

 FAQs

  • Our events usually consist of moderate hikes or other physical activities which anyone with a normal fitness level and proper equipment can master.
    Should a format be exceptionally physically demanding or have special requirements, we would explicitly mention this in the event description.

  • We keep groups intentionally small (6-12 people) to foster a real group dynamic, keep conversations personal, and give every participant the space to share and fully profit from the experience.
    We are usually a mixed group of male and female entrepreneurial minds.

  • All our events are run in English.
    Should all participants in a particular event be more fluent in German or French, we could switch to either one of these languages.

  • Our events take place in different weather conditions. As hosts, we adapt program, route, pace and breaks to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
    We reserve the right to cancel the event in cases where conditions are so adverse that risk is too high. In that case, you would receive a voucher for a next Naturpreneur event.

  • Yes, we co-design custom-made Naturpreneurs formats on request.
